Lost Predictions from a Professional Amatuer

Lost predictions are a hobby of mine. My years of experience in making stuff up, wildly speculating, and TV watching uniquely qualify me to think that I can read the minds of the Lost writers (right now I hope they are thinking they should get back to work). I have even been right once or twice.

At any rate, I do have a few predictions for Season 4:

• There will be 16 episodes as promised. There will be the 8 that are finished, a mid-season break, and then the remaining 8.
• Walt will be back, much older and much more connected to the island. I think Walt will play a major role.
• There will be other Others (not the rescuers). They will be really bad, and they will kill Ben.
• Not everyone will be rescued (ok, ABC kinda gave me that one). The people who stay behind will move off the beach and into the Other’s village.
• Jin has to die, but Sun will live (as will her baby).
• Kate will be pregnant– it’s Sawyers
• Jacob will not be revealed, but he will be back. What ever arrangement Ben and Jacob had will be made with Locke and Jacob.

That’s all I got. I am not going to speculate at who is rescued and who is not, nor do I want to guess who’s funeral was announced at the end of “Through the Looking Glass.” Those twists will have to be big enough to hook new viewers and shock the old ones. Therefore they are beyond my ability to guess.

What predictions do you have? I know you have one or two goodies that are probably spot on. Let me know in the comments.

    I have a suspicion that Desmonds flashes may be exposed more. I am not so sure he sees everything he says he sees, and Im hoping this season shows more about that

    i agree with most of your predictions; however i don’t think that walt will be “much older” but i agree that he will play a big part later on. i hope you are wrong about jin, i’m still suffering over charlie’s death. my husband and i have made many guesses as to who’s funeral jack went to but cannot agree, i’m kinda leaning toward michael. how do you think the “sub-story” at find815 will tie into the actual story?

    Ji-Yeon episode was horribly bad!!!
    It was just boring.
    I did not like Yunjin Kim ( Sun )’s Performance at all
    except Jin’s. Hope to see more of his movies in the future
