The Beginning of the End - Preparation Checklist

ABC Viewer.The Lost Season 4 Premier is just a few hours away, and I am busy preparing for my Lost Party (are you?). Episode 4.1, aptly entitled “The Beginning of the End” ushers in the final 48 episodes. No one knows just yet where the final 48 will take us, but you can bet that it is going to be a wild ride. Here is a final checklist to make sure that you are ready for tonight’s episode.

  • Did you review the last episode? If you remember (or watched the rerun) of the Lost season 3 finale, then you know that this season features a few new twists and turns. There are now flash forwards not just flashbacks, and there is a promise of a faster and more furious pace from the beginning.
  • Are you caught up on find815.com? There has been a ton of revelations in this alternate reality game. Chapter 5 concludes tonight, two hours before the Season 4 begins. There is still time to play the game, but you might want to visit Lostpedia’s recap for time-sake.
  • Have you made your Lost predictions? Not even the actors know where their characters are headed. That means you should guess for them. Sound of in your predictions in our comment section?
  • Are you up to date with the writer’s strike? The writer’s strike has canceled or suspended 8 of this season’s 16 episodes. If there is any way for you to pressure the writers and the studios to agree, do it.
  • Have you tried to seduce your friends into the lost universe? If you haven’t, the 8 1/2 minute review

would be a great start.
