Lost Season 4 - Brand New Questions

Posted by lostfan

Lost season 4 began last night.  I am stunned.  It was by far one of the best episodes I have seen so far.  The rumors on the street said that this season would be good, and that the pace would be intense, and they were right.  I wound up with so many questions.

If you haven’t seen episode 4.1, do not continue this post, it could be considered spoilerish.  Continue after the jump for a list of my major questions.
    •    If Hurley went with team Locke, how did he get off the island?
•    Who is Naomi’s sister?  The writers wouldn’t have loaded that line if it wasn’t very important?
•    Why is Hurley having those visions - is it the Island?
•    Is Jacks’s father alive?  This is a question from  the season finale of season 3, but it is important to this episode.
•    Who / what is Jacob? More on this soon.
•    What is the time lapse between the season 3 flash forward and episode 4.1 flash forward?
•    With only 7 episodes left this season (umm, writers strike - meh!) how much will get to know?

Do you have question of your own?  Or better yet, do you have any answers to my questions?  If so, sound off in the comments below.  I would love to hear what you thought of “The Beginning of the End.”

I agree, it was a great episode with loads of new questions. I am wondering what the secret is. The one Jack wonders if Hurley will tell. Also the thing Jack says at the end of season 3, “Im tired of lying”….

Could this be that the Oceanic 6 said that everyone else died, when in fact a group (Locke, Ben etc.) are still on the island?

You missed one more big question. How much will they be selling the Season Four DVD Set for once the season is over?
