If you have seen the trailer for episode 4.08, “Meet Kevin Johnson,” then you know someone dies. The question is, who dies. I have a few theories on this. Here we go… Michael dies because he says so. If you watched the sneak peek for this week, then you realize that Michael tells Sayid that “He is here to die.” If you believe him, then it would appear that he dies this week. Jin dies because of the gravestone in “Ji Yeon.” At the end of last week’s episode, Sun and Hurley visit Jin’s grave. The death date is listed as the day that the plane crashed. This implies that Jin does not leave the island. It stands to reason that he dies on the island. Claire dies because Desmond (kind of) said so. Follow me on this one, Desmond sees Charlie die in one of his time travels, and then Charlie dies. Desmond also sees Claire get on the helicopter, but as we saw in Kate’s episode, “Eggtown,” Aaron is with Kate and not Claire. Something happens between the time Desmond’s vision ends and Kate is rescued. I think she dies. This is my personal choice. Miles dies because he should. Enough said about that. I voted Jin, as I think he will do something heroic to save Sun and the baby and die as a result. I could easily see it being Claire though as well, since her character continues to do nothing for the storyline at all….
I think it would be convenient for Michael to die, leaving Walt with no family, making Walt the person in the casket that no one comes to see.
