Locke is supposed to move the island. Presumably, he needs the help of Ben and probably Hurley. Locke has become a bit cryptic and manipulating, but I guess that is all part of doing the island’s bidding. I can’t help but to wonder, what does he mean by move…Time travel is a reality; we know that now. Does Locke intend to move the island forward or back in time? Do they intend on moving it into the past, so that they can stop the freighter from finding it?
Can the island physically move? Will they rotate the island so that the islands magical bearing no longer has meaning, or so the time delay will be greater making it very difficult to get on and off? Will the shift cause everyone on the island to go wacky and need to find a constant? Or does the island simply move? Will it end up in the arctic, which is where the polar bears and Ben’s fur coat come from? Does the island spring up out of nowhere, which is how the Blackrock got stuck there in the first place.
I suppose (but I doubt it) that the island could be moved emotionally, causing some kind of anger or other reaction that clears the island, but that would just be dumb.
I am really struggling though with what move means. Personally, I am afraid of what the writers are flirting with. If this becomes too silly, or weird, I am afraid of how many people it might turn off, including myself. We shall see.

Lostfan, I agree with you once again. I am also afraid what the writers are going to do next week leading into next season. If they don’t start to give us more answers and if the show takes off in a really wierd direction, I will resent having gotten so wrapped up in it. I am already feeling a little disappointed with the time travel. I wish it could have been something else. What instead, I don’t know.
