All Night Lost Party

If you haven’t heard, on Thursday, May 29, there will be an all night Lost-a-thon.  ABC, in a stroke of genius, is running three hours of Lost together.  The three hours will be the season finale and will include last week’s episode, and then the two hour continuation.

This is an exciting new approach to the season finale hoopla, and I think it is a good move.  Not only is it a small payback from the network and writers for that little mid-season “hiccup”, but it also allows the writers and producers to weave a story in a completely new way. I hope this isn’t the last time we see this type of season finale.
