LOST Travel Postcards Probably are Mysterious

lost.jpgSigmund Freud said “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.” Sigmund Freud never saw an episode of LOST because nothing is EVER what it seems, and I am sure that a new teaser off of the ABC site is no different.  Travel postcards available over at the LOST site are available for sending to a friend, igniting the imagination, and making me generally paranoid that I am missing something.

My favorite postcard “Experience the Unexpected,” has a great illustration of my favorite smoke monster.  All of the postcards have some sort of reference or hint from the Seasons 1-4, and they are all illustrated in some wacky art-deco style.  I am trying to figure out what is hidden in all of them, but I am afraid that LOST has driven me insane, and that they might very well just be travel postcards.

The six postcards are:

  • “Don’t Be A Stranger - Come Back!”
  • “Experience the Unexpected”
  • “Get Away to Find Yourself”
  • “Return to the Island”
  • “The Island Cures What Ails You”
  • “Come Back”
