Did you catch this press release?
A LOOK OVER THE PAST FOUR SEASONS WILL SHED LIGHT ON THE SURVIVORS OF OCEANIC FLIGHT 815, THE MYSTERIES OF THE ISLAND, THE OCEANIC 6, CHARLES WIDMORE AND OTHER OUTSIDE INFLUENCES — ALL IN PREPARATION FOR “LOST’S” EXCITING FIFTH SEASON PREMIERE — IN THE NEW SPECIAL, “LOST CLIP SHOW” (w.t.), WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21 ON ABC.
ABC is continuing the battle of roping in new viewers five seasons into one of the greatest mysteries ever on television. On premiere night, before the good stuff begins, ABC will be airing another clip show to catch viewers up and shed some light on the mythology, pathology, and psychology of life on the island. Chances are this is another “pop-up video” LOST episode, but I don’t mind. Last season, I actually enjoyed the pop-ups. They were handy when I missed a few things.
What do you think, are you a fan of the recap shows?

I dont know where to leave these thoughts but here’s as good a place as any. I just rewatched all the seasons in preparation for the new one. I love that everytime i watch them i catch something new. Here’s some thoughts…. sorry if we already talked about any of these
* ‘dead claire’ doesnt seem to have an accent. Jack & Hurley were visited by confirmed dead people. Claire visiting Kate tells me she is island dead as well. Whatever that means.
No babies born on the island - couple things.
* John Locke’s mother had him prematurely at 5 months. Pretty close to the same point in the pregnancy that women on the island die, along with the babies… coincidence? prolly.
* I’ve always wondered if the island is in some sort of time warp where the normal human gestation can’t happen on the island. maybe we’ll find out this year.
* Charlotte indicates she was born on the island. Could she have been the last birth there per Aaron, and her returning could mean something? (No i don’t think she is Annie)
* did I see Jin the commercial for this season? sure looked like him with a torch on the island. Hard to tell.
* How many references are there for Jeronimo Jackson (sp) - just a coincidence?
* When the hatch imploded, did the island move? Either in location or in time? Seemed to make similar sounds and colors when Locke moved the island as when Desmond blew it up.
*Ben wanted the frighter to blow up regardless correct? Didnt he send Michael a bomb and tell him to use it once in open water? Killing Keamy was prolly a bonus then.
I’m sure there’s more but that’s what comes to mind right now. hmmmm… can’t wait!
